Louisiana Housing Corporation: $7.8 million in Multifamily Housing Revenue Bonds (volume cap) for the acquisition, construction, rehabilitation and equipping of multifamily housing facilities (Barton Drive Manor and Briarwood Village Apartments) consisting of 132 units in Shreveport.

Natchitoches Parish: $3 million in Taxable Sales Tax Revenue Bonds for the Natchitoches Parish School Board School Sales Tax District for maintaining, operating and improving school facilities.

Washington Parish: $350,000 in Certificates of Indebtedness for the City of Bogalusa to purchase a fire truck.

Bond Commission staff also presented an update on Louisiana’s borrowing capacity for roads, bridges and other state construction projects.

“The state has more infrastructure needs than there is money to fund projects,” said Treasurer Henson.  “We do, however, have a little more breathing room and are in much better shape than we thought we’d be earlier in the year.”
